July 26 Project Update

Things are moving along with all the summer construction projects. Crews are working hard to get everything ready for the return of staff next week and the return of students on August 16.

This is a non-bond issue related project but still a fun improvement at BHS. This area in the library will be filled with tables for students to work on their chromebooks.

BPS work underway

The sounds of construction echo through BPS empty hallways. Construction crews are busy working on the HVAC, cafeteria/kitchen and the secure entry projects at BPS.

The office at BPS has been demoed as crews begin to create a new secure entry for guests at BPS.

The kitchen area is clear and crews prep for a major renovation project to be completed this summer.

 New HVAC units line the hallways as crews begin to remove existing units and replace with new, more-efficient units.

Crews hit the ground running on May 23 with demo at BHS.  New HVAC  units are ready to be installed.

The old Activities Director's office, School Resource Officer's office and meeting room are being remodeled into a life-skills classroom for the special education students at BHS. The classroom will include a mock apartment-type space as well as classroom area.

Construction of the new BHS office area began in March over spring break.

Crews installed the custom-built reception desk at BMS on July 29.

Flooring installed in buildings

Carpet and tile has been installed in the BMS entry. 

New tile and a large BIS will greet students and staff at BIS.

Fresh carpet is installed in the BIS Library.

Storefront glass will showcase the newly remodeled Library at BIS.
